MechE students Andrea Michelle Lehn, Tess Engst-Mansilla, and Aline Vargas Manriquez, together with other members of Team SVETEX, won an MIT Sandbox Fall Funding Award for their work on the technology transfer and marketing of a sustainable polyethylene fabrics technology with a low environmental footprint and applications ranging from sports to healthcare and beyond.
